Founded in 1994，China International Education Institute (CIEI) is a civilian-run higher education institution approved by Beijing Municipal Education Commission and registered at Beijing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs. It is subordinated to China Education Association for International Exchange, an affiliate of the Chinese Ministry of Education.   With a focus on China and a global perspective, CIEI has developed distinctive domestic and international training programs which are culturally diverse and market welcomed.

    The overall goals of CIEI are to: foster international exchanges and cooperation, strengthen understanding and friendship between education sector of China and countries and regions in the world, bring in advanced educational resources and promote education development in China, develop the domestic training programs that can meet market demands and strengthen the competencies of the workforce.

    Following the education policy of gearing education to modernization, the world and the future, has aligning with the motto of devoted to study, learn from the world, CIEI aims to make greater contribution to higher education in China by providing high-quality international exchange and educational programs for domestic and international partners and trainees.
